Short answerFor an industrial or B2B company that wants a website that sells in several markets, is easy to maintain and is found by Google and AI assistants, a custom website — lightweight, with a simple back office when needed — usually works out better in the medium term than a WordPress or Webflow template. A custom website can be ready in a month (two if it’s complex) and costs from about €10k depending on company size.

WordPress and Webflow are great tools for many projects. But in industrial companies we keep seeing the same pattern: the template works for the first year, and from then on every change costs more.

The problem with templates

  • They never quite fit. The template was designed for another company. Your catalogue, sectors or certifications end up forced into someone else’s structure.
  • They’re expensive to change. Plugins, updates and dependencies: a small change can break something else.
  • They’re heavy. Many templates load far more code than you need. A slow website loses visitors and Google rankings.

What you gain with a custom website

  • Built for your company: the structure follows how you sell — by sector, by product, by market.
  • Fast and lightweight: only the code you need.
  • Simple maintenance: designed from day one so that updating it isn’t a problem.
  • A custom back office when you need one: to manage products, news or documents much faster than with a generic panel.
  • Ready for Google and AI (GEO): structured data, one page per language, real FAQs and a summary for AI assistants. It’s exactly what we did on our own website.

A complex back office adds time. These are guide figures: if your budget is different, we adapt the scope.

How we do it

  1. Strategy & architecture: what the website must do, for whom and in which languages.
  2. UX/UI & design: we show you progress in regular sessions.
  3. Custom development, SEO & GEO.
  4. Launch: and, if you like, a launch plan with a video.

FAQ

What if we already have WordPress?

You don’t have to throw everything away on day one. First we look at what works and what doesn’t, and decide together.

Who maintains the website afterwards?

It’s designed for simple maintenance, and with a custom back office your team can update the content themselves.
